The Montessori math material 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 aids children with learning about theorems on congruence, similarity, and equivalency:

Congruent shapes are shapes with the same side lengths, same angles, which could be overlapped and matched.

Similar shapes are have the same properties if compared, but their sizes differ if contrasted.

Equivalent shapes are shapes that appear to be different but that have the same area if calculated.

Our new support material, Metal 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 Task Cards, can be used with the classic Metal Squares and Rectangles or our new wooden budget-friendly version, to help children intuitively understand these mathematical properties.

The Complete Set consists of a wooden version of 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 accompanied by 25 laminated precut Metal Squares and Rectangles Task Cards stored in a premium quality wooden box. As always, we strive to develop materials that foster independence. Children will be invited to manipulate shapes to contrast and compare them, and they will find visual control for errors on the back of each card. This process ensures that the knowledge is integrated through hands-on practice and repetition.

It also includes a set of laminated and cut task cards for the metal squares and rectangles along with the storage box for the task cards.
