The dot at the bottom June 30, 2019 Reviewer: Susana Silva from Washington, DC United States   It does make sense for print lowercase to differentiate and prevent put upside down p/d/p/q or m/w, but in cursive it is not necessary. Also, the video show trace the dot. It can be confuse for the child and it is not part of the phonic. So my suggestion is ignore the dot and focus in the phonic formation only. Smaller than expected still amazing - after SL September 7, 2015 Reviewer: Becky [email protected] from Winston-Salem, NC United States   Wish I knew about these sooner. Each tile is a quality thick wood and we switched to cursive for my 6 year old and she loves them. She sat and used these Tracing Boards for 2 hours straight after they arrived. My son who is 3.5 likes them but enjoys the sandpaper letters more. I've heard this consistently from other parents. Older children seem to really like these. Also, Maria Montessori originally wanted to do tracing boards but because of cost and availability of machinery she created the sandpaper letters. Was this review helpful to you?
