This kingdom can be found near the trunk of the tree .It includes Domain Bacteria and Domain Archaea. They are the most highly populated organisms on the planet and can be found anywhere. Some bacteria can be beneficial such as the ones found in yogurt; others can be harmful and cause infections like strep throat. Bacteria and Archaea are known to reproduce and grow quickly under any given environmental conditions such as temperature and pH levels. They can only be observed through the use of a microscope. Despite their minuscule size they are able to defend a human’s immune system against diseases and help maintain the Tree of Life.
