We are excited to introduce our new Wooden Calendar that will be joining the ever expanding materials here at Alison’s Montessori!
The natural and simplistic design will complement any classroom and home aesthetic. It can be hung on a wall or propped on a table for children to easily use it. The interactive nature of the calendar will appeal to a child’s desire to learn about the days and months of a year.
Each month, the children can change the month and the days and learn how time passes by reviewing what day was yesterday, what the present day is, and what day will be tomorrow. Children can use the red ring to highlight the current day of the week.
The Wooden Calendar includes:
• 31 wooden discs for days of the month
• 12 wooden discs for months of the year
• 3 wooden discs for years
• 1 red indicator ring
• 1 oval basket
