Additional Notes:
"Sorting, Transferring, Pouring" Practical Life Package consists of a variety of works with increasing challenges. The packages contains different dry and wet transfers using sand, marbles, pompoms, beans, and grains. Children will experience sorting, transferring, and pouring using various utensils such as a spoon, a snail dish tong, chopsticks, a sponge, pitchers, a towel, tweezers, and hands. Placing a variety of practical life works in a prepared environment invites children to work on fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination. The works offer meaningful opportunities for repetition through which children can refine their movements (fingers, wrists, and arms.)
