Learning opposites is an important skill for pre-reading children to help them distinguish differences around them and aid them in their quest to become successful readers and writers. This set includes:

• 18 pairs of opposite pictures; 36 cards in total (front-back, cold-hot, closed-open, night-day, dirty-clean, on-off, awake-asleep, young-old, quiet-loud, empty-full, up-down, coming-going, left-right, near-far, short-tall, happy-sad, fast-slow, straight-curve) (Words are printed on the back of each picture for control of error)
• 36 word labels that correspond to each image for older, reading-level children who are able to recognize words
