Important Extension to Hierarchical Math work |

Although Dr. Montessori did not design this, it is a valuable extension of her work in mathematics beyond one million.
Its design, family "houses" representing place value hierarchies, allow colored beads to represent any number from the unit of the simple family to the hundreds in sextillions. It makes it possible to even do operational work at these levels, which is so attractive to children for whom infinity is such a powerful concept. Thank you for providing this!
