The Botany Impressionistic Charts have been used for decades in Montessori classrooms. They consist of 19 colorful hand draw extra large charts, 19 story cards, and 21 experiment cards.
The Botany Impressionistic Cards are used in the elementary years after children have been introduced to the Great Stories using the Geography Impressionistic Charts and the Timeline of Life.
The purpose of the Botany Impressionistic Charts is to help children learn about the needs of plants and their functions while sparking their imagination with stunning graphics, fascinating short stories, and easy experiments.
The stories are read together using the large Impressionistic Charts which leaves great 'impressions' on children. Experiments are conducted along with the stories and can be left at the children's disposal on the shelf when appropriate. The Experiment Cards are designed as command cards that children can easily follow to recreate the experiments.
